To help students who have disabilities and their families learn more about the transition from public school

to the adult world, Rio Rancho High School will host our District's 6th Annual Spring Transition EXPO

on March 2, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in Rio Rancho High School’s Auxiliary Gym. Interested students, families, and others throughout Rio Rancho, Sandoval County, and beyond are invited to make valuable face-to-face contacts with agencies, adult services providers, employers, and other vendors. Exhibitors participating in our EXPO share information and answer questions related to a successful transition from public school to the adult world for students who have disabilities.

 

Our 6th Annual Spring Transition EXPO is free and open to the public.

Child Find Center monthly screenings
The Rio Rancho Public Schools Child Find Center (CFC) is located to the west of Shining Stars Preschool. The CFC conducts monthly screenings on Saturdays by appointment only. If you have concerns regarding your preschool child's development (e.g., cognitive, speech, language, motor, self-help, or social/emotional skills), please contact CFC at (505) 892-7735 ext. 315 to schedule a screening.
