Important Info…

  1. Integrated Learning Experiences are now in full swing.Check the back of your child’s folder for the monthly Calendar.
  2. Please write a quick note on the communication log found in your child’s blue folder if there is something bulky we need to take out from the backpack. We are training students to remove items such as family projects and library books independently.
  3. Parent volunteers welcome please let me know if you are interested. A detailed letter went home at the end of September.
  4. Please write a note in the communication log if your child is going home a different way. The written documentation keeps all the teachers in our classroom on the same page. THANK YOU!

What we are Learning this Month….

Our classroom has been transformed into a winter wonderland. The dramatic play center has been turned into a gingerbread house and the students will have ample opportunity to create play dough cookies, read about and make many tasty pretend dessert recipes.  Students will be working on their patterning skills, playing snowman number games, writing letters and postcards to Santa. Following 3 and 4 step directions in order to decorate the Christmas tree, getting creative at the creation station and practicing their wrapping skills at the wrapping paper station. Our centers this month are focused on building fine motor muscles in order to help students increase their writing stamina. It’s going to be a great month!

Check the calendar on the back of your child's blue folder for important info including their show and tell day.
