SSP Registration and Lottery Information for 26-27 SY
Registration for the upcoming school year opens tomorrow, February 25, 2026. Please read below for details regarding registration for Shining Stars for the upcoming school year.
Parent Powerschool Account: Families will need to have a Parent Power School account in order to register for next year. If you do not have a Parent Power School account, an email will be sent to you from our registrar, Sarah Valerio at sarah.valerio@rrps.net
For 3-Year-Old Students: If your child is currently enrolled as a 3-year-old at Shining Stars and you wish to continue or be considered for continued enrollment, please read the information below to determine your next steps:
For 3-Year-Old Students without an IEP
To be considered for a spot for the next school year, you must complete a lottery application. The lottery application will open on March 2nd and will be located on our website. If selected, you will receive registration information via email.
Notification for our 3Y classes will be sent the week of April 20th.
Notification for our 4Y classes will be sent the week of May 4th
For students with an IEP
Please register your child when it opens. You do not need to complete a lottery application. Registration alone will secure your child’s enrollment.
Please note that registration for students who are not on an IEP will not be processed until lottery acceptance letters are sent out in April and May.
